James R Davenport, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), works with individuals, families and businesses to maximize their potential. James helps clients in transition by providing comprehensive guidance in areas including personal financial planning, business planning, estate planning, insurance solutions and investment management.

In addition to his client-facing role as wealth advisor, James is intrigued and experienced in helping seasoned financial advisors with succession planning. According to Financial Advisor Magazine nearly 40% of financial advisors are expected to retire in the next 10 years and James can help them develop a plan. He recently opened up our newest office in Sarasota, FL directly between Tampa and Naples, an area of the country that’s experiencing rapid growth.

James and his wife Catherine, along with their four children, are residents of Sarasota and enjoy traveling, cooking, the outdoors, playing sports and staying fit.
