FAMILY-OWNED BEVERLY FINANCIAL GROUP MERGES WITH WEALTH MANAGEMENT FIRM, SENTINUS
Financial Planning Firms Join Forces to Expand Markets and Enhance Client Service

OAK BROOK, ILL. – January 5, 2016 – Multi-generation wealth management firm, Sentinus, today announced its merger with like-minded Beverly Financial Group, a timely move for both family-owned firms to reach additional markets and better serve their expanding clientele. The two firms have similar client bases and both offer holistic and personalized financial planning.

Approaching its 70th year in business, Sentinus is focused on longevity with this merger and the recent opening of its new 5,374-square-foot Oak Brook office in November to accommodate the expansion.

The founders of Sentinus and Beverly Financial Group, Richard Reynolds and Richard Lusk, were brought up in a similar work and cultural environment as they worked together at Cigna for many years. Their sons, Scott Reynolds and Rich Lusk, now run the two companies, have continued on the working relationship.

“Our longstanding successful working history with Beverly Financial makes this merger a natural fit because our companies were developed with the same practices and values,” said Scott Reynolds, President of Sentinus. “As we look to the future, this strategic expansion will allow us to best serve our clients and touch even more markets.”

Beverly Financial Group brings 200 client families and business owners to Sentinus. Their connections in Beverly, Ill., and the surrounding communities will expand Sentinus’ footprint throughout Chicagoland.

Rich Lusk, President of Beverly Financial Group, and his wife, Belinda Lusk, join Sentinus with decades of industry experience. Rich has served as a financial advisor for more than 30 years and is a certified financial planner, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and is also registered and licensed as a fullservice investment and insurance professional. Belinda has helped her husband and associate build their financial services business for more than 20 years by managing client interaction and office operations.

“The cultures and operations of our two firms are incredibly similar,” said Rich Lusk. “We trust Scott and the Sentinus team with our valued clients and look forward to the strong team environment, collaborative work culture and greater resources to focus on our clients and our future.”

Rich and Belinda Lusk will join the Sentinus office in Oak Brook but will retain a presence in Beverly to remain accessible to their clients in that area.

About Sentinus

Founded in 1946 by WWII veteran Richard A. Reynolds, Reynolds Financial Group was a responsible and progressive wealth management firm with a focus on customer service. The company began offering fee-based comprehensive financial planning coupled with risk-based asset allocations in 1978, which put them ahead of the curve in helping their clients build unique and diverse investment plans to meet their financial goals. In 2012, the company rebranded itself as an independent Registered Investment Advisor, Sentinus, and began offering non-proprietary products which provided an opportunity for client growth and a more streamlined, effective client experience with greater hands-on management and service.
